Welcome to the Virginia Regional Center for USJFCOM Workforce Transition and Business Development website. The website and the center are available to help individuals and businesses impacted by the U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) disestablishment.
In time of war and peace, the USJFCOM has served the Country’s defense and security needs. Whether you are a uniformed member of the Armed Forces, a Department of Defense civilian employee, a government contractor or employee of a contractor or a business serving USJFCOM you are part of this proud tradition. You have served your country and the Commonwealth of Virginia with honor and distinction through the years, and now the Virginia Regional Center for USJFCOM Workforce Transition and Business Development is here to serve you. Through a grant from the U.S. Department of Defense-Office of Economic Adjustment, the center will provide worker transition, entrepreneurship and business retention services. By bringing together a robust network of partner-provider organizations, the Center is truly your one-stop shop for transition and business assistance needs.
As your Governor, my top priority is to create jobs and economic opportunity for the citizens of the Commonwealth. Whether you are located in Dahlgren or Hampton Roads, I ask that you take time to review the website and its many offerings. I would also invite you to visit the Virginia Regional Center for USJFCOM Workforce Transition and Business Development located in Suffolk at Bridgeway Technology Center I, 7025 Harbour View Boulevard.
Thank you for your service and please let us know how else we can assist you by contacting info@jfcomtransition.com.
